Final Round of Augusta National Women’s Amateur

Tomorrow, my husband and I are attending the final round of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur—held at the legendary Augusta National Golf Club. It’s one of the most inspiring events in the world of golf, and we’re excited to witness the next generation of female talent take center stage.

This tournament, founded in 2019, has quickly become a cornerstone in women’s amateur golf. The ANWA not only celebrates top-tier skill but also reflects the progress and growing recognition of women in the sport. From Champions Retreat to Augusta National, every round is history in the making.

2025 Tournament Highlights
After two intense rounds, the leaderboard is tight heading into the final stretch:

  • Lottie Woad (Florida State) — tied for the lead, aiming to become the first-ever back-to-back ANWA champion

  • Kiara Romero (Oregon) — tied at the top, steady and composed

  • Megha Ganne (Stanford) — set a tournament record with a 63 in Round 1, now just one stroke back

  • Carla Bernat Escuder (Kansas State) and Andrea Revuelta (Stanford) — both in the hunt at -8

We can’t wait to walk the fairways of Augusta and soak in the atmosphere of this thrilling event. From record-breaking scores to historic firsts, this tournament continues to redefine what’s possible in women’s golf.
