Tomorrow Is Moving Day At The Masters Tournament

After today’s second round ends, we’ll learn what players made the cut and those who didn’t.

Those who make the cut will begin round three on “Moving Day.”  This is the name of the Saturday of each Masters Tournament.

It’s my understanding that this is the day players move up the leaderboard. It is the day they declare themselves as contenders for the Green Jacket.

In other words, if a defensive strategy was employed to ensure the cut was made, a more aggressive strategy to break out of the pack is often seen. Who are you rooting for winning this year’s Green Jacket?

Par 3 At The Masters Golf Tournament

For many golf fans, today’s Par 3 competition 🏌🏻‍♀️at the Augusta National Golf Club is a special event to witness.

It has become a family affair with the players. It’s not unusual to see wives as caddies and young children putting on manicured greens

The players know well the fact that no one has won both the Par 3 Contest and the Masters Tournament in the same year. Needless to say, many players are not eager to add the Par 3 winner’s trophy to their collection.

Who are the only 2 players to have won the Masters after having also won the Par 3 Contest? One is Vijay Singh. Who is the other?

  • Ben Crenshaw

  • Raymond Floyd

  • Tom Watson

  • Arnold Palmer
