As we step into the final month of the year, there’s a special energy in the air—a mix of reflection, ambition, and holiday anticipation. December is an exciting time. I feel it. Don’t you?
For entrepreneurs like me, this month is a golden opportunity. It’s a time to glean the lessons of the year—what worked, what didn’t. What will continue in 2025 and what will be done differently or not at all in the new year?
Over the Thanksgiving break while I was out of town and away from my office, I started my annual review of 2024. I’m still in the midst of it so I don’t have any insights to share just yet. Here are some questions I’m asking myself:
- What remains to be done?
- How will challenges become stepping stones?
- What wins need celebrating?
- What are the key takeaways from the year?
Here are some of my thoughts on entrepreneurship. It isn’t just about building wealth and living a life I love living—it’s about serving others, solving problems, and making a contribution.
I hope reviewing 2024 will yield some keen insights for you and be an opportunity for celebrating your victories. My plan is to use December to finish the year strong. I want it to provide a launchpad for 2025 so I can go to the next level – personally, professionally and financially.
